A Case of Eccrine Acrospiroma

Abstract

|
We report herein a case of recurrent eccrine acrospiroma in a 13-year-old boy, who had a solitary, hard, erosive-surfaced flesh-colored erythematous nodule on the left occipital scalp. Measuring 2×1.5cm in size. Histopathologically. The tumor is
well
circumscribed, and composed of lobulated masses located in the dermis and extending into the subcutaneous fat. A few of tubular lumina and cystic space are observed within the lobulated mass composed of predominant polyhedral and clear cells. We
also
used PAS, alcian blue stains and immuno-peroxidase stains for identification of the tumors He has remained free of recurrence for a period of six months after excision.
