A Case of Eccrine Acrospiroma

Abstract

|
We report herein a case of recurrent eccrine acrospiroma in a 13-year-old boy, who had a solitary, hard, erosive-surfaced flesh-colored erythematous nodule on the left occipital scalp. Measuring 2¡¿1.5cm in size. Histopathologically. The tumor is
well
circumscribed, and composed of lobulated masses located in the dermis and extending into the subcutaneous fat. A few of tubular lumina and cystic space are observed within the lobulated mass composed of predominant polyhedral and clear cells. We
also
used PAS, alcian blue stains and immuno-peroxidase stains for identification of the tumors He has remained free of recurrence for a period of six months after excision.
